The Magdalene Centre is a partnership in mission between St Mary Magdalene’s St John’s, Halifax Street, St Peter’s Cathedral, and Anglicare SA. Located on three sites in the inner city, the Magdalene Centre is a welcoming place which offers a range of anti-poverty services, with the aim of supporting people as they regain control of their lives. The Magdalene Centre can assist with housing advice, legal issues, financial counselling and emergency relief.

The Magdalene Centre will consolidated its operations on a single site at 82 Gilbert Street, Adelaide, in late 2018. Please keep the patrons, volunteers and staff of the Centre in your prayers as they prepare for the move, and the Parish and other Magdalene Centre partners as they reflect on the implications of the move for their ongoing ministries in the city.
